These photos were taken (by me) either within the boundaries of the new Bears Ears National Monument, looking into the monument, or nearby. Included are images from the Recapture Canyon ATV protest in May 2014 — that part of the canyon was not included in the monument — as well as the public hearing on the monument held in Bluff, Utah, in 2016. Also included are shots from just West of the monument, taken from the lower slopes of the Henry Mountains. Fine art prints of most of these photos can be found at my Fine Art America site.
